Thank you, thank you, thank you.

It is not possible for me to truly express my thanks to everyone who has helped get this business together and off the ground.  But I’m going to give it a shot. :)

Thank you to all my friends and family and fans who have supported me, encouraged me and believed in me over the years.  From the first “photo shoot” I ever did of my sister when she was pregnant with my nephew (who just turned 5!) to everyone who believed in my vision for our portfolio building sessions over the past 4 months…I’ve learned so much from each of you and loved getting to know each of you a little bit better through photographing a small moment in your lives.

Thank you to Aubri (www.pinkskyphoto.net), my photography guru and mentor, for all of the encouragement, inspiration and advice.  And thank you for taking a chance on me and asking me to second shoot weddings for you this year.  Mentoring under you has been an invaluable experience to me and I’m so grateful to have met you.  Not to mention, shooting next to you has been a blast!

Thank you to Stefanie, who reviewed all of my contracts and was determined to make sure I’m covered.  Who would have thought when we were playing on recess in elementary school, that you would one day be a lawyer reviewing my portrait contracts? :)

Thank you to Rachel, my hair and make-up artist, who helped me glam up some gorgeous girls for my portfolio shoots and who did my own hair and make-up for our family photos and my headshots.  You are awesome at what you do and so much fun to talk to before shoots.  It’s been fantastic to go through this experience of building our portfolios together!  And yes, we need to go veg by the pool now!

Thank you to all of my friends who have given me advice or opinions about editing styles, logos, branding colors, etc.   Especially Jodie, Jenny, Sarah and Jessica.  You ladies have helped me immensely and I appreciate every last text, e-mail, facebook page share and lack of eye roll when I ask you yet another question about this business. ;)

Thank you to Nana Pati, Papa Bob, Nana Kathy, “Grandma” Marlene, “TCA” (aka Aunt Jan, aka “The Cool Aunt”), Aunt Lora, Uncle Matt and anyone else I might have forgotten along the way who watched Brielle so I could get some work done during daylight hours.  You saved my sanity.  And thank you all for giving me advice and helping me make decisions along the way.  I have the best family and I love you guys!

Thank you to Brielle for being patient every time Mama had to send another e-mail.  Or for being willing to pose for me for yet another shot (provided I had fruit snacks in my pocket).  Or for “going on an adventure” with me every time I wanted to scout a location.  Thank you for your snuggles and your kisses and your adorable renditions of “Blah blah slap sheep”.  You’re the best and one of my main reasons for starting this business.  Love you nugget.

A huge thank you goes to my husband, Matt.  He is my sounding board, my resident IT expert, my biggest support, my best friend and my love.  Without you, I don’t know how I could have ever gotten this done.  We certainly have not had an easy past year, but we’re approaching the light at the end of the tunnel.  You’re just amazing and I love you to bits and pieces.

Finally, thank you to everyone who has shared my page, added my link when they uploaded images to Facebook or told their friends about me.  This business is all about referrals and I cannot express how much I appreciate when you refer people to me.

Thank you.  Thank you.  Thank you.

A thousand times.
